After what was a very optimistic start to our trip to Winchester, with almost all the rigging done in glorious sunshine, the cloud rolled in, and the rain began to fall.
So on Saturday morning with our River Park performance area ankle-deep in water, we sadly took down the rig and packed it back into the van.
In the end, most of the larger shows were cancelled due to the awful weather, but the festival did continue in good (wet) spirits with many of the buskers busking through the bad weather to an appreciative anorak clad audience.
Disappointing for Square Peg… I hope the rest of the summer is dryer!
