Summer is here!

Summer has finally arrived – just in time for our first outdoor shows in UK this summer.

Performing outdoors at home is always a risky business and weather forecasts are checked religiously in the run up to events. So far we have been pretty lucky: we only had to cancel one show in Nottingham during NEAT festival, and the organisers instead facilitated an observed rehearsal for us, which led to an insightful blog written by Circus blogger extraordinaire Katherine Kavanagh, which you can read here.

I highly recommend Katherine’s website in general, next to Sideshow Magazine probably the most informed writing about circus in the UK.

We’re enjoying the sunshine and looking forward to #EastleighUnwrapped this Saturday, a fantastic fun filled line up of arts at the Point in Eastleigh. More outdoor performances of Rime are scheduled for Aberystwyth and Greenbelt Festival in August and the fantastic Inside Out Festival in Dorset in September.
